What Else Can I Do to Help a Child Succeed?

A Revolutionary Approach

Conscious Discipline Workshop

October 24th and 25th 9am to 4pm

12 CEU's

Conscious Discipline

Conscious Discipline® is a comprehensive classroom management program and social-emotional curriculum. It’s based on current brain research, child development information, and developmentally appropriate practices. Conscious Discipline® has been specifically designed to make changes in the lives of adults first. The adults (parents, teachers, youth workers, therapists), in turn change the lives of children.

Conscious Discipline® is a way or organizing schools and classrooms around the concept of a School Family. Each member of the family—both adult and child—learns the skills needed to successfully manage life tasks such as learning, forming relationships, communicating effectively, being sensitive to others’ needs and getting along with others.

We equip educators to integrate social-emotional learning, discipline and self-regulation so they spend less time policing behavior and more time teaching vital life skills.

Conscious Discipline is a proven, comprehensive approach that empowers you with skills that create a safe, connected, problem-solving environment for families

Annette Chastain

Annette Chastain is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from The Confederate Tribes of Warm Springs, Oregon and lives in Redmond, Oregon. Annette provides mental health consultation, training, and coaching for Head Starts, childcare centers, Social Service agencies, Native American tribes, communities, and schools K-12. She has over 25 years of experience in outpatient mental health, day treatment, classroom settings, mental health promotion and prevention, parent training, in-home skills training, and as a certified prevention specialist.

This training was a total game-changer for me.  It has influenced how I practice therapy, how I teach, and even how I parent my own children.  The theory is scientifically sound and packaged in such practical ways that make implementing new ideas easy.  I could not recommend this more.
